There are hundreds of tutoring centres in Sydney. Most of them will give your child a framework, a worksheet, and a practice exam. That is not what we do. At Foci, every session is taught by a specialist — someone who knows the text, knows the syllabus, and knows how to make a student think rather than just perform. That takes preparation. That takes experience. And that costs more than a generic session at a learning centre. If you are looking for the lowest hourly rate, we are probably not the right fit. If you are looking for measurable improvement in the way your child reads, writes, and argues — we are exactly that.
Group & Team
Our group classes run with 3–6 students per session, allowing for genuine discussion while keeping the teaching specific. Every class follows the Foci curriculum — built around the current syllabus, updated each year, and taught by a specialist tutor.
All prices are in AUD and are calculated per student on a quarterly basis. Prices are prepaid for 10 lessons (1 lesson per week during the school term). K-6 lessons last 1 hour. 7-12 lessons last 1.5 hour.

Private Lessons
Private sessions offer dedicated one-on-one time with a Foci tutor — tailored entirely to your child's current work, upcoming assessments, and individual gaps. Our staff tutors are trained in the Foci approach and work closely with our Directors on curriculum design.
All prices are in AUD and are calculated per student on a quarterly basis, but billed on an annual basis. Prices are prepaid for 40 lessons. (1 lesson per week during the school term, 4 terms per year). Lessons for any student (K-12) last 1 hour
